PACKSPUR
Packspur Sauvignon Blanc Late Harvest Selection 2006 $24.75
Qty:

The extended hot, dry summer and autumn of 2006 was the perfect season to let our Sauvignon Blanc grapes hang out for extended ripening. A small, extra dry area of the vineyard produced very small, intensely ripe fruit. Both batches were vinified separately then blended to marry the tropical fruits with the honey-ed intensity of the raisined berries.

PACKSPUR
Packspur Blanc De Pinot Noir 2006 $14.00
Qty:

A white wine from the black Pinot Noir grape is made by taking the juice off skins before ferment rather than fermenting on the skins as is done for Pinot Noir wine.
The grapes were gently whole bunch pressed and the time in the press has allowed enough skin contact to imbue the wine with soft blush tints and the spicey character of the pinot noir grape. Leaving the wine on yeast lees over winter has added a depth to the palate and also enhances the stability of the wine and therefore cellaring potential. Enjoy with long summer lunches or evenings with friends.

PACKSPUR
Pinot Gris 2006 $24.75
Qty:

For the 2006 vintage of Pinot Gris we were blessed with a season that produced very good clean fruit. This was fermented to leave some residual sugar but the lees and barrel influence have given a rich fruity smooth wine with the palate roundness.

PACKSPUR
Gentle Annie 2004 $30.95
Qty:

Packspur Gentle Annie Pinot Noir 2004 reflects a very difficult year in the vineyard. Cool temperatures slowed the ripening and fruit maturity. The wine is therefore a lighter style with good fruit and tannin and a soft palate. Definitely an elegant feminine wine to enjoy with long lunches and lazy afternoons.

PACKSPUR
Pinot Noir 2006 $30.95
Qty:

The 2006 Pinot Noir is showing lovely berry fruit flavours with the spicey, warm tannin structure giving good body and balance.
Excellent fruit set and ripening conditions made the 2006 vintage a joy, so as winemakers our job was to watch over the natural process and intervene as little as possible.
After 12 months in French oak - 30% new - the wine was coarse-filtered only, to preserve the fruit and tannin quality. This means that there may be some natural tartrate deposit over time.

PACKSPUR
Dry Riesling 2005 $19.50
Qty:

Packspur Dry Riesling was fermented slowly over winter and remained on lees for seven months for added complexity. As a dry wine with good acid and fruit intensity the 2005 Packspur Riesling will develop and mature well over several years.

PACKSPUR
Riesling 2003 $19.50
Qty:

Packspur Riesling was made in our estate style of slow ferment and lees contact over winter to add weight and richness to the palate. 2003 Packspur Riesling has 16 grams residual sugar which is blending beautifully with the clean crisp acids.

PACKSPUR
Sauvignon Blanc 2004 $20.25
Qty:

The 2004 vintage produced heavy frosts in Spring and Autumn and one third of the fruit was not picked. The fruit that escaped frost damage ripened with good flavours and acids. The wine was barrel fermented in our usual style and given 100% Malolactic fermentation with regular lees stirring to produce our hallmark crisp fruity wine with creamy full-bodied mouthfeel.

PACKSPUR
Chardonnay 2006 $18.50
Qty:

Packspur Chardonnay 2006 was barrel fermented in French oak barriques using a small portion of new oak to contribute spicey characters. 60% of the wine was then put through malolactic fermentation to add soft creamy texture to the fruit flavours. The finished wine has good body and complexity that will cellar well for several years.
